History

Government Polytechnic, NarendraNagar (Tehri Garhwal) was situated in the valley of nature, was established by Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1975 with a view to fullfill the needs of man-power in technology for the state and country.

The Institute is one of the leading technical institutions of the Tehri Garhwal region and is responsible for producing top-grade professional. The institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee and approved by AICTE and PCI.
